Ahousaht Wellness Centre
The Ahousaht Wellness Centre is now open as a safe and supportive space for community members who are ready to make positive changes in their lives.
If you are wanting to stop drinking, find direction, or begin healing from trauma and addiction, we are here to walk alongside you.
Our work is grounded in Ahousaht values healing through connection to culture, land, community, and family. We believe healing happens together.
What we offer:
- Safe, stable, and trauma-informed space
- Support from people with lived experience
- Cultural supports, Elders, and connection to ceremony
- Help connecting to counselling, medical, and other services
- Support with daily routines, goals, and wellness planning
Please note:
We are not a treatment centre and do not have medical or mental health professionals on site. We are a peer-supported space, and we can help connect you to other services if needed.
We are currently in a start-up phase and continuing to build our programs.
Who can come:
Ahousaht members who are ready to begin making changes.
