Chief Councillor
​Rebecca brings more than three decades of leadership in education, serving as a teacher, Vice Principal, Principal, and Director of Education for the Ahousaht Education Authority. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and continues to support community initiatives following her retirement from education.

Melinda Swan
Deputy Chief Councillor​
Melinda brings extensive leadership experience, having previously served multiple terms on Ahousaht Council, including as Deputy Chief Councillor. Her background includes business ownership, community leadership, and decades of volunteer service to Ahousaht families and organizations.

Anne Atleo

Councillor
Anne has previously served two terms on Council and two terms as elected Chief Councillor. With a background in law, education, governance, and negotiations, she brings decades of leadership and community service to Council.

Angus Campbell

Angus brings many years of Council experience and a lifelong commitment to serving the Ahousaht community. He is known for advocating for long-term community priorities and listening to members both at home and away.

Ivey Campbell

Councillor
Ivey has over 11 years of experience with Ahousaht's Social Development Department. She serves on the AEA board and the Housing Committee, she also has post-secondary training in Business and Social Work.

Herbert Dick

Councillor (NR)
Herbie is an experienced councillor whose work has focused on healthcare advocacy, wellness, housing, justice, and community safety. He continues to champion transparent leadership and practical solutions that benefit Ahousaht members.

Ina Dick

Councillor (NR)
Ina was re-elected to serve a second term on Ahousaht Council. She returns with valuable experience from her first term and will continue supporting Council's work on behalf of the Nation.

Councillor
Molina brings more than 25 years of experience in Ahousaht administration, including many years supporting Chief and Council. Her extensive knowledge of Council processes provides valuable institutional experience.

Philomena Duncan

Councillor
Mena has managed the Maaqtusiis Childcare Centre for more than 28 years and has previously served on Ahousaht Council. Her experience in community leadership, education, and Council portfolios provides a strong foundation for serving Ahousaht members.

Crystal Frank

 Councillor (NR)​
Crystal has served as Ahousaht's Reconciliation Coordinator since 2021 and previously served as a non-resident councillor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vancouver Island University and has secured significant funding to expand reconciliation initiatives and community programs.

Francine Frank

Councillor (NR)
Francine has worked in education since 2014 and teaches the Indigenous Language Revitalization Program through North Island College and the University of Victoria. Her work focuses on language revitalization, cultural education, and helping strengthen Ahousaht and neighbouring Nations for future generations.

George brings experience in fisheries, construction, stewardship, education, and youth mentorship. His leadership emphasizes protecting Ahousaht's culture, language, lands, and future generations.

Larry previously served on Ahousaht Council and currently works with Ahousaht Fisheries. He brings experience in community service, fisheries, and supporting local families, with a commitment to transparent leadership.
