Ahousaht Election 2026 – Nomination Information
The Notice of Nomination Meeting for the upcoming Ahousaht Election is now available. Please review the full notice posted here.
Nomination Meeting: May 13, 2026; 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Held at Maaqtusiis Secondary School (Multi-Purpose Room)
This election will select one (1) Chief Councillor and twelve (12) Councillors.
How to Nominate
You may nominate a candidate:
• In person at the Nomination Meeting
• Or, by mail, if you are unable to attend
Mail-in nomination forms and instructions are available in the pdf links at the top of this page.
Mail-in nominations must be received before the nomination meeting: by May 11, 2026.
Voting by Mail:
Mail-in ballots are not sent automatically. Members who wish to vote by mail must request a mail-in ballot package from the Electoral Officer before June 5, 2026. Contact Ron Laufer at 1-833-443-VOTE (8683) or [email protected]
