- Ahousaht Financial Law: Ahousaht 5 year financial plan - Ahousaht Managers are working on developing their specific needs operations budget for the community needs today, tomorrow and for years to come. Our goal is to NOT accept what is offered to us, but to insist on what is needed to THRIVE, not just survive.
- Ahousaht ARFA Renewal
- part 1) Ahousaht cannot borrow unless that loan is offset by revenue and the net difference is positive to Ahousaht
- part 2) Ahousaht must always have a professionally certified accountant in the Director of Finance position
- Starting October 2017 Ahousaht Chief, ED/CFO and Manager of Administration will be directly involved in the renewal of the community's block finance renewal with INAC.
- Jordan's Principle:
- Collaborating with our funders, Ahousaht is looking at augmenting our health, social wellness and other areas to better take care of children in need, and by default, the families of those children
