Patient Travel
The Ahousaht Patient Travel Program assists registered members who need to travel for approved medical appointments. Services are available for both on-reserve and away-from-home clients who require travel to access medical care.
Patient Travel clerks Bonita, Blair, and Michelle help coordinate travel arrangements. To ensure your travel can be processed on time, please ask your doctor’s office to email or fax appointment confirmations at least four (4) days in advance, as required by program policy.
If you have an upcoming appointment, please email the Patient Travel office ahead of time to arrange your travel.
Appointment cards may also be dropped off at the front desk at the Ahousaht Administration Office.
